Wie in jedem anderen Beruf wird man aufgrund eines Einstellungsgesprächs, seiner Unterlagen und auf Grund seines Charakters eingestellt. Du weißt was du selber von einem Padi Dive master oder Padi Dive Instructor erwartest, wenn du Tauchen gehst oder einen Tauchkurs machst. Natürlich kennst du gute aber auch nicht so gute Divemaster/Instructor. Plätze wo du gerne arbeiten würdest aber auch Plätze wo du nicht wieder hin willst.

Es ist unsere Aufgabe dich zum bestmöglichen Divemaster oder Instructor auszubilden und zwar so wie es zu dir passt und du auch einen geeigneten Arbeitsplatz findest.

Beginne deine Tauchkarriere mit dem ersten Schritt – Padi Dive master. Du kannst deine Ausbildung zum PADI Divemaster schon mit 20 im Logbuch eingetragenen Tauchgängen und dem erfolgreichen Abschluss des PADI Advanced Taucher und Padi Rettung Taucher Kurse. Zusammenarbeit mit einem PADI Instructor erweiterst du dein Tauchwissen und verfeinerst deine Fertigkeiten auf professionellem Niveau. Der wichtigste Kursinhalt besteht im Erlernen, wie man Tauchaktivitäten beaufsichtigt und wie man bei der Tauchausbildung hilft.

Padi Divemasters dürfen nicht nur Tauchaktivitäten beaufsichtigen, sondern auch bei der Tauchausbildung helfen. Tauchzentren und Resorts in der ganzen Welt brauchen Divemaster zur Unterstützung beim Tauchunterricht und zur Begleitung von Tauchgängen. PADI Divemaster dürfen das PADI Discover Local Diving und das Scuba Review Programm für Taucher mit Tauchschein durchführen. Sie dürfen auch die PADI Discover Snorkeling Erfahrung und den PADI Skin Diver Kurs abhalten sowie den Padi Digital Underwater Photographer Spezialkurs und den Emergency First Response Kurs unterrichten. Bist Du PADI Divemaster und überlegst den nächsten Schritt?

Na dann aufgepasst! Es ist Zeit für Deinen PADI Dive Instructor Development Course (IDC).
Der IDC ist unterteilt in zwei Teile, dem PADI Assistant Instructor (AI) und dem PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) Kurs. Dies ermöglicht es dir den Kurs in zwei zeitlich nicht aneinander gebundenen Teilen zu machen, falls nötig. Andererseits, kannst Du auch beide zusammen und den kompletten PADI IDC in wenigstens sieben Tagen oder länger (so bist Du besser vorbereitet) machen.

Der erste Teil des PADI IDC Kurses ist der PADI Assistant Instructor. In diesem Kurs erhältst Du mehr Erfahrung als PADI Tauchprofi und Du erlernst das PADI System zur Ausbildung von Tauchern.

Im zweitem Teil das PADI IDC, dem PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor erlernst Du mehr über die Führung und Ausbildung von Tauchschülern und wirst vorbereitet auf dein Leben als PADI Instructor.

Bekomme einen Fuß in die Tür!

Hast Du dir je überlegt wie es wohl ist an deinem Urlaubsort zu arbeiten und dort zu leben? Mach eine Pause vom Stress bei der Arbeit zuhause oder verändere die Leben komplett ! Durch unser Ausbildung wirst Du ein hervorragender Padi Dive master oder Padi Dive Instructor. Wir zeigen Dir wie man eine Anstellung in der Tauchbranche findet und sich dafür bewirbt , wie eine Bewerbung gestaltet sein muss um erfolgreich zu sein. Sollte eine Position in unserem Padi dive center, frei sein und Du zum Team passt, kannst Du auch mit uns arbeiten (leider nicht immer möglich, da wir nur ein halbes Jahr Saison haben).

Als PADI Instructor ist es einfach eine Anstellung zu finden, als PADI Divemaster kann es sein, dass Du oft erst zeigen musst was Du kannst bevor Du angestellt wirst. Wenn es Dir ernst ist mit einer Karriere in der Tauchbranche wirst Du PADI Instructor werden wollen und es ist sehr hilfreich auch Padi Speciality Dive Instructors zu werden. Oder als PADI Divemaster kannst du Padi specialities, like Padi Equipment Speciality, Padi Digital Photografy Instructor or Padi Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor werden.

250 AWARE Divers (Taucher) und 2500 AU$ (Australische Dollar) Spendengelder

September 2010–Palm Beach Divers, Koh Lanta, Thailand konnte bis jetzt die einnahmen von über 2500 AU$ an Spendengeldern verbuchen. Seit Januar 2009 erhielten wir Spenden von 250 unserer Tauchgäste zur Erhaltung der wunderbaren Unterwasserwelt.

Wir organisieren über das ganze Jahr “cleanups” sowohl am Strand als auch UW, bringen Bojen an verschiedene Tauchplätzen an und unterrichten unsere Gäste in PADI Shark AWAREness Specialty Programm. Unsere Tauchgäste aufzumuntern an diesen Aktionen teilzuhaben und auch Geld zu spenden für dieses Programm ist ein guter weg dem Meer und seinen Bewohnern etwas zurück zu geben. Wir sind sehr glücklich und auch stolz damit PADI Project AWARE zu unterstützen!

Dear Palm Beach Divers, we would like to thank for 10 days of fun & pleasure ! We joined you for 210 hours under water, we have had 336000 liters of air, 168000 liters of Nitrox and unknown amount of beers at night in San Sunset Bar or at the dive center. We enjoyed the boat trip and introduced Thor into "ice-cube-diving"...We especially want to point out the flexibility of Lisa's dive planning and the deciscion to have 2 dives at dive sites with mantarays !! We had a fantastic and surprising time under water and above- I wasn't even certain I was diving when we arrived for a vacation and I ended up doing the full Padi Open Water Course with Pan as my Padi instructor. My most memorable moments were seeing the crazy colours of the octopus and sea turtles and having Pan spot things when I was sure nothing was there-especially the cuttlefish ! Also he pushed me off the boat, to do my swimming test to shore and gave me his shirt, so that the "aggressive plankton" did not eat me on the way. My "diving story" began 5 years ago when we arrived on Koh Lanta intending to stay for 4 days, but ending up staying for 5 weeks ! Steve was one of the first customers and, from the first meeting with "fello Essex man" Lee on the beach, to meeting Lisa & Lars and their other staff, we were made to feel like friends and very welcome. Steve completed his Padi Open Water and Advanced Open Water Courses, while I, with my enormous fear of Open Water couldn't even go onto the boat ! We returned in April 2009 to a lovely warm welcome, some familiar faces along with some new friends to make ! Steve quickly embarked on dives and this time I was "brave enough" to try snorkelling. Heidi was very reassuring during all 6 snorkelling trips and make me wonder why I had left it so long before looking into this amazing underwater world ! Back at Christmas 2009, with Zoe and Tom, who took to diving as quickly as their dad. I remained snorkelling. Finally in February of this year (2010) I made the decision that I wanted to learn to dive - and there was only one place that could teach me- Palm Beach Divers ! So we returned in April, Steve ready as ever to get back into the water and myself - very nervous ! I need not have been: everybody was so encouraging from my first day in the classroom, to my first step into open water. Remco has to be one of the most patient and encouraging teachers I have met. Despite my numerous attempts at the mask removal task, he kept encouraging me and telling me I could do it. Lisa's time and patience also with the mask task, was very much appreciated. I never thought I would do the Open Water Course and become a diver, but after I met Adam my mind changed. Obviously I know there is an awful lot that I still have to learn and master, but the 4-day Open Water course I've just finished has given me a real desire to go on and dive some more - which i guess is what it's all about really!!! het was hier fantastisch, leuke behulpzame staf en mooie duiken gemaakt. We komen zeker terug, maar wanneer...!!! The diving has been great. We have seen from Manta's till nudibranch.
